This training is designed to help home visiting staff build and maintain health professional boundaries in the field. Participants will explore the challenges of boundary-setting in client homes, including managing dual relationships, navigating cultural norms, and responding to client over-disclosure or inappropriate behavior. The training offers practical tools for communicating limits clearly and respectfully, addressing blurred boundaries in real time, and protecting emotional well-being. Through interactive discussions and case-based scenarios, staff will strengthen their ability to balance empathy with professionalism in diverse, community-based settings.
Join either in person at First 5 Shasta, 393 Park Marina Circle or on Zoom.
