About this event

Bennett Theatricals, Triad Theater, and Fursh Media present:

Bound For Broadway: New York City’s premier singer showcase for up and coming musical theater talent.

Now in the third year of its monthly residency at the Triad Theater, B4B has been a celebrated staple of the New York City cabaret scene since 2009.  Over the years, more than 4,000 singers have graced the stage.  Alumni have gone onto lead successful careers in all factors of the entertainment industry...And yes, even to the Broadway stage.

The B4B team includes hilariously quick witted emcee Jake Mckenna alongside fabulously talented music director Mason Griffin with director, producer, and multi-hyphenate entertainer Andy Crosten at the helm.

Each show features an astounding array of meticulously curated professional singers from New York City performing their best show-stopping numbers as well as a special guest star from the Broadway stage who headlines every performance.

B4B has been nominated for eight BroadwayWorld Cabaret Awards since its return in 2022 including Best Variety Show, Best Open Mic Show, Best Director (Andy Crosten), Best Musical Director (Mason Griffin), Best Emcee (Jake Mckenna), and Best Ensemble Soloist (Mia Gentile and Tyler Hardwick).

Even if you don't personally know someone in the show, B4B always promises to deliver an unforgettable evening of musical theater talent, delicious cocktails, all while basking in the art deco elegance of the majestic Triad Theater.

"Jake is a born host, an excellent Master of Ceremonies, and hilariously funny at all times."

"Mr. McKenna and Mr. Griffin make for a great show business duo, with personalities, senses of humor, and talents that go hand-in-hand."

"Crosten's passion is palpable, as a producer and as a performer, since his rendition of ‘Anthem’ showed the crowd that not only is he a Bound For Broadway board member... he's a client, too."

Frequently asked questions

Is there a beverage / food minimum at the show?

Yes. The Triad Theater has a 2-drink-minimum for all shows. This can include 2 alcoholic drinks or $25 in food and/or non-alcoholic beverages.

Why does the Triad Theater have a beverage / food minimum?

Most every cabaret / live music venue in New York City has some sort of food / beverage minimum. This is because the majority of revenue from the ticket sales go directly to the performers! So in order for the venue to stay in business, it has to ensure revenue from food / beverages.

What types of beverages / food does the Triad Theater serve?

The Triad Theater has a full bar which serves beer, wine, and delicious cocktails. Non-alcoholic beverage options include soda, juice, coffee, tea, and mocktails. There are snacks and small bites available for food such as hummus, french fries, chips, and brownies.

Are there restaurants nearby?

There are, yes. If you'd like to enjoy a full sit down dinner before or after the show, the Upper West Side presents a variety of delicious options. For a quick bite, check out the legendary Gray's Papaya hot dog spot right on the corner of 72nd Street and Amsterdam.

Is the Triad Theater handicap accessible?

The Triad Theater is located on the second floor of the building and unfortunately at this time, there is no elevator access to the theater.
