<DIV CLASS="_1mf _1mj"><SPAN><SPAN>Culinary traditions run deep in Louisiana, and boudin is one of the unique food items that can be found in the state. It’s a blend of pork, rice, onions and parsley served in a sausage casing. The 7th annual Boudin Wars will take place inside the newly constructed Annex in the Brimstone Museum Complex located at 900 Huntington Street in Sulphur, La. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Local restaurants and stores will be allowing visitors to sample their boudin recipes, and visitors will get to taste the “Best Boudin in Southwest Louisiana.”</SPAN></SPAN></DIV>

<DIV CLASS="_1mf _1mj"><SPAN><SPAN>Tickets are $10 and can be purchased starting in mid-September at the Brimstone Museum or at www.brimstonemuseum.org. Each ticket allows the bearer to get a small sample from each boudin vendor. Boudin Wars is an event previously recognized by the Southeastern Tourism Society (STS) as an “STS Top 20 Event,” and is sponsored by the Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.</SPAN></SPAN></DIV>
