About this event
Taste from a curated selection of our whiskey barrels in our distillery. Take a tour of our distillery while you mull over which is your favorite. Let us know which one you like and fill your own bottle. There are many (well, some) like it, but this one is yours.
You'll see how we test for alcohol content and label your bottle just like our distillers do.
The full experience lasts just about an hour, depending on how many questions you ask. And feel free to ask away - we're open books for just about everything.
Your ticket price is all-inclusive and includes the bottle you are taking home.
Frequently asked questions
Just like any small distillery, sometimes, our availability will vary. Our goal is to always have at least two barrels of double oaked bourbon whiskey available to choose from. From time to time, we may need to substitute in something else for one of the barrels.
You should plan to spend about an hour with us. Sometimes groups will be very efficient and not have a lot of questions, in which case you may only be with us for 45 minutes. But we strive to make the experience worth your while!
You will fill one 750ml bottle.
Yes, the price of the bottle you're filling is included in the price of your admission.
While tipping is always appreciated, it is certainly not necessary, nor will we even hint at it.
Double oaking is the process of taking aged whiskey and putting it into a second new-or-lightly-used barrel. This process amplifies the barrel's impact on the whiskey and normally yields darker colors and more complex flavors.
We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early to allow for check-in and to get comfortable. Don't be late, but there's also no need to arrive too early either!
No! We will provide everything you need. Just bring yourself and a smile.
$40 of your ticket goes toward the purchase of your bottle (State of Ohio rules), and $40 goes toward the experience.
