Come bottle feed a baby highland cow and snuggle the friendliest goats in the Lowcountry and have them all to yourself at urban mini-farm Flowertown Charm!

These are private sessions with just you and the animals! No fences and no sharing them with other people! You will get up close (literally in your lap if you want) with our super friendly dwarf goats and their friends; fancy chickens, barn cats, gentle farm dogs, huge fluffy bunny, bee hives, and giant tortoise! Our heifer calf "Mimosa" was born 12/3/23 and you get to bottle feed and brush her and spend the hour with the animals! Pretty much all of our animals can be pet, snuggled, & are very friendly! We will let you snuggle and maybe let you know about each animal here, what they eat and provide, and what care they need. Or if your just here to snuggle that's fine too! This is a very casual time to learn & spend with some friendly farm animals! Perfect for couples, birthday surpirses, families with kiddos, and basically every animal lover out there!

Follow us @flowertowncharm for farm updates!

Our urban historic farmhouse and mini farm is located in Summerville, SC. Summerville is a historic town about 30 min outside of Charleston. Many folks are surprised with our mini-farm being in an urban setting. We are unique because this city was built up around our 1870's farmhouse.

Want more than an hour with the animals? Come stay with us at our 1870's Farmhouse Farm Stay

*IMPORTANT: PARKING is limited here at our farmhouse for overnight & handicap guests only. Please park at the church (ONLY in the back lot by the basketball courts) located at 255 Stallsville (Loop) Rd and walk a block over to 225 Stallsville. DO NOT park at the Endodontics parking lot or the church main lot, they tow. Our farmhouse is located on the corner of Stallsville Rd & Long Needle Lane. Use the left white gates at the house to enter the farmyard. Historic White House with Red shutters and Black Fountain w/ a white goat sign out front. Parking here at the house is for folks with limited mobility only please! Please park at the church back lot otherwise.

*PLEASE LOOK UP DRIVE TIME, the Lowcountry has traffic, no surprise there, we are in the heart of Summerville, so folks coming from other cities will hit traffic. There's only so much time after work/school until dark for us to hold this activity outdoors while the animals are awake. So we are trying to accommodate everyone.

Frequently asked questions

What if it's going to rain?

We will most likely reschedule the class as goats HATE the rain! We usually will make the call 12-24 hours in advance and will reach out to guests via the email they registered with if we do cancel and reschedule. If you cannot wait that long please email us jenna@flowertowncharm.com to refund.

Are there baby goats?

We try to have baby goats born every Fall & Spring! Follow us on social media for updates! @flowertowncharm

Are you handicap accessible?

Our experiences are completely outdoors and in the grass, with a few stepping stones to go over from the front to the backyard. Our home also has stairs and we have a tiny bathroom that isn't very handicap friendly. We have had folks in wheelchairs and walkers attend before, it just depends...

Do you have bee hives?

Yes we do, although they are in a separate area from our guests area, bring a Epi-pen if you are allergic please.

Can I bring my dog?

NO! Our animals will get spooked and not want to mingle with guests. Also our farm dogs will protect our animals and want to guard them and cause a lot of frustration

Can I bring food or drinks?

No outside human food is allowed, but you can BYOB. You can also bring sliced carrots or apples to feed the animals!

How can I contact you for a reschedule?
