Bothell DIY Rain Barrel Building Workshop

Snohomish Conservation District helps residents conserve and protect natural resources through education, technical assistance, and incentives to ensure a healthy environment and clean water. We are a political subdivision of state government with no regulatory authority. We have been working with farmers, city residents, rural and suburban landowners on a voluntary basis since 1941. SCD boundaries include most of Snohomish County and all of Camano Island.

Join Snohomish Conservation District and City of Bothell at the Bothell Operations Center for a fun-filled evening building your own rain barrel! <a href="https://snohomishcd.org/rain-barrel-program" title="https://snohomishcd.org/rain-barrel-program" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Learn how to conserve water and reduce runoff</a> in your garden while creating a practical and eco-friendly solution. This in-person event is perfect for all skill levels, whether you're a seasoned DIY-er or just starting out. Get hands-on experience and take home a 55-gallon rain barrel to start using right away, including spigot, overflow pipe, and inlet screen. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment! Each rain barrel kit costs $20 and includes all materials and tools. We have enough supplies for 30 rain barrels for this event. Eligibility requirements<ul><li>Participants must live within Bothell's city limits (usually 98011 or 98021 zip codes, with few exceptions). Once we verify that you live within the incorporated city limits, we will contact you for payment.</li><li>Participants must prepay for their rain barrel. Registration is not confirmed until payment is received.</li><li>Limit of one rain barrel per household. Thank you to the City of Bothell for sponsoring this event!</li></ul>
