Gabriella de Souza is a plant ecologist, botanical jewelry designer, and an inspiring educator. Native to Wilmington, North Carolina, Gabriella has carved a niche in harmonizing the beauty of nature with educational pursuits. Her original creations do not merely capture the aesthetic of local flora but are emblematic of the delicate relationship between humans and the environment. Gabriella’s approach to teaching is cultivated from her passion for ecology and her extensive background in biology and environmental sciences. She holds a B.S. in Biology and Environmental Sciences and a Master of Science in Biology from UNC Wilmington, credentials that underscore her comprehensive understanding of plant science. Her decade-plus experience lends a wealth of knowledge to her students, bridging the gap between scientific understanding and practical, hands-on experience.
