Join us for a fun and creative afternoon at Radical Roasters!
You'll learn multiple ways to create monoprints (aka single, one off prints - all the more special!) using natural elements such as flowers and leaves. Experiment with different stems and placements, get your hands inky, then we'll help you design some final prints. These delicate mono prints are the perfect way to make a memory out of found flowers, or a lovely gift for your loved ones.
Materials to make the prints will be provided (flowers, ink rollers, ink, paper, some fabric) but bring your own cuttings if you want! Please note we'll be using oil based inks - even though they're the "easy to clean" kind (and we'll provide adequate cleaning products) these will be fairly easy to clean off of non-porous surfaces such as metal, glass, plastic, but might be more difficult with anything else, for example clothing. There is always a chance the ink might stain so keep that in mind. We can provide gloves, but not aprons!
Our hosts are the incredible Radical Roasters, providing excellent coffee and other hot drinks, pastries, cakes, and an always welcoming atmosphere (plus some vintage glassware and china for this one!)
