Botanical Printing & Slow Making Workshop

Botanical Printing & Slow Making Workshop

Studio One Toi TuAuckland, Auckland
Overview

Create your own botanical printed textile while exploring slow fashion, natural materials, and mindful creativity.

Sustainability Through Making

Discover circular fashion, natural dyeing, and textile storytelling through hands-on creative practice.

We invite you to spend an afternoon create a silk scarf using vintage 1980s Japanese kimono silk, giving new life to a textile rooted in tradition. Working with flowers, New Zealand and Australia native leaves, eucalyptus, maple, grevillea, mānuka and more, you'll transfer their pigments onto natural fibres in a sustainable method.

Come on your own, family or with a friend. You’ll leave with a wearable piece shaped by nature and tradition.

Suitable for ages 8+.
No experience needed. All materials included.
