In this workshop, you will learn how to make beautiful prints of wild flowers, herbs, and various leaves using a printing plate, as well as a gel printing plate.
The workshop will begin with an herbal walk to learn about the various flora growing all around us and end with creating botanical mono prints from what we gather along the way.
This printmaking technique can be used to create your own botanical monographs, as well as various forms of art - such as: greeting cards, framed art prints, and more.
In this workshop you’ll learn:
• What materials you’ll need to create botanical monoprints.
• How to use natural materials to make your prints.
• Various techniques and tips for creating art pieces with natural materials
• How to create beautifully layered botanical prints
Every attendee will leave with a minimum of two (2) botanical monoprints. Cost includes all materials, herbal walk, and instruction.
