Join us for a journey of plant alchemy color from Mother Nature! We will be bundle dyeing with seasonal plants & compost scraps from the kitchen & garden, creating various surface designs & pigment color on select fabric.

Participants will learn different methods of extracting color from plants & flowers, as we explore a natural palette as an alternative to chemical dyeing, while addressing issues and challenges around sustainability within the textile industry.

Each participant will leave with dyed samples & several unique, ready-to-wear project pieces. Come see what’s available in the world of color around us!

About the instructor:

Victoria is an artist and natural plant dyer for textile design & fashion. Her designs focus on natural colours and techniques through the dynamic elements of nature. Each piece she creates reflects our connection to Earth, our relationships to culture, and the impact we have on world around us. Victoria is dedicated to inspiring others to live from their creative self-expression and personal freedom, while focusing on preservation and sustainable practices of the environment.
