What if I am a beginner?

All levels of experience are welcome. With some comfort in drawing and carving, we learn to adapt our design simplicity to our level of skill.

What is the process like?

First, we sketch thumbnails and draw our favorite botanical motif. Carving from soft medium with v-shaped tools creates white space on the design. Proofing and printing the design with ink is very satisfying.

All materials are provided. Studio clothes or aprons can help while working with ink. You may choose to bring some spending moolah for fare and refreshments.
