Boston based chiptune/digital fusion curator, Break Bleeps, has put together a ??? lineup of artists to destroy the dance floor. We know Boston Bitdown is a chiptune/digital fusion fest, but how could we not pay tribute to our VGM family? Forged from the same fire, chiptune and VGM will always be linked together. On 3/8, we'll be hosting a VGM Power Hour (or two) featuring 3 VGM dynamos!

ChIpTuNe?!?!?!? AT THE MOVIES?!?!?! Yes! Like we said - we want to showcase chiptune in every form. Please welcome chiptune artists - and film score composers - Disasterpeace & glomag  to the official Boston Bitdown lineup. *single tear of joy* Disasterpeace has grown so much since his Boston8Bit days!!! Look at him now - he’s scored for, “It Follows”, “Marcel The Shell With Shoes On”, and “Bodies Bodies Bodies”. This appearance will be a little different than our other featured artists. We’ll be screening a Disasterpeace Double Feature: “Marcel The Shell”, and “Bodies Bodies Bodies”, followed by a Q&A with Disasterpeace himself. Grab some popcorn, and join us for an afternoon of film and chiptune discussion!  Movie score composer glomag: Chris Burke is the John Williams of 80/90s B horror & Troma films: “The Refrigerator”, “Splatter University”, and “Toxic Avenger”. He’s been writing all the tunes to your favorite B horror movies.

They deserve so, SO much better! We met them in their own court of: a place of high energy digital fusion, full throttle bops, and sexy performance! Minusworld has been a hot producer in the local burlesque community, curating shows with live music. We’re bringing that whole experience to Boston Bitdown! Bring your $1 tip bills, and fill up that drink, honey!
