Borough Book Bash October 2016

Sam Missingham, recently launched Lounge Books, a new home for book-lovers which offers curated lists of books, award-winners, hidden gems and review round-ups of big books. This follows 4 years at HarperCollins London, where she ran large-scale marketing campaigns, author events, email and social strategy.Previous to that she worked at The Bookseller, the book trade magazine where she was responsible for audience strategy, industry awards, conferences and marketing. She also launched FutureBook - the community charted the digital transformation of the book business. Fundamentally, she’s a publishing geek and tweets about books and publishing to her 26,000 followers.

Please join us for the October Borough Book Bash on Thursday 27th October at 6pm.
We have moved from our usual slot of the 3rd Thursday of every month because this clashes with the Frankfurt Book Fair.
As always, the Book Bash is open to anyone linked with the book business. It is a friendly, welcoming evening, with no agenda, no speaker, just an opportunity to connect with others.
120 people attended last time - authors, publicists, MDs, students, marketing & digital bods, developers, literacy charities and more. 
If you fancy a very informal evening with an interesting and diverse group of book people, then please join us.
