Born Again

Born Again

Online event
Tuesday, July 7  •  6:30 PM - 8 PM EDT
Overview

Jesus used that expression one time, with a man named Nicodemus. What did He mean by that?

Jesus only spoke to one person about being "born again." The expression has become a bit cliche . . . but what did He mean by it?

In the Gospel of John, chapter three, we read an exchange between Jesus and man named Nicodemus. In their conversation, Jesus told Nicodemus he needed to be "born again." That is the one and only time Jesus used that expression.

Why did He speak that way to Nicodemus? What did Jesus mean by the expression? And, perhaps most importantly, what are the implications for us?

This one evening class will be a "reading lab." We'll spend our time in John 3:1-21, seeking to read attentively (even though the passage might well be familiar!). The class will meet, online, on Tuesday evening, July7, at 6:30 pm (EST, US).

Those who register will receive both the link for the class and an accompanying handout.
