Join us for an unforgettable weekend of Boots, Bourbon & BBQ!

Get ready to kick back and relax as we pamper and polish your boots, while you indulge in the finest bourbon and feast on mouthwatering BBQ. Sip on your favorite spirits, smoke a fine cigar, dine on delicious food, and shine bright with good company and great vibes.

Join us on Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4, at the Prairie House Restaurant located at 119 E Main St, Lewisville, TX 75057 for two days of festivities. We are also excited to welcome the Mayor of Lewisville, TJ Gilmore, who will be assisting us with our event by shining! What an honor to have him support our non-profit. Then, set sail with us on Sunday, May 5 for a relaxing cruise on Lake Lewisville at Sneaky Pete's located at 2 Eagle Point Rd, Lewisville, TX 75077.

We're excited to host this charity fundraiser benefiting YCRCEE.org, a non-profit organization committed to fostering transformative growth in children. Through innovative programs and mentorship, our goal is to instill lifelong skills, resilience, curiosity, and confidence in every child we reach. Our focus extends to supporting underserved communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, particularly children facing challenges related to resource disparities, crime, and single-parent households. Guided by faith-based principles, our mission is to provide free-of-charge life skills, financial literacy, mentorship, organizational, vocational, and educational support, along with communication tools and therapeutic resources for children aged 7 to 17.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

May 3

7:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Rise and Shine Boot Drop Service. Drop off your boots/shoes (up to 10 pairs), and grab a slice of Mama Dee's Texas Whiskey Cake and coffee on your way to the office. Retrieve your polished boots by 5 p.m.. There will be selected business in Old Town Lewisville where you can pick up your Free Boots and Blessing Bag. Pick up one for yourself or two if you want to bless someone else. We are coming to shine.

11 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Join us for Sip, Smoke & Shine session featuring old-fashioned cocktails, brisket brews, and indulgent Mama Dee's Texas Whiskey Cake served with ice cream and maple bourbon caramel syrup. You will also have an opportunity to get a free shine.\

5 p.m. - 8 p.m. - Live Music

6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. - Join us for the Basher & Boots Luxury Whiskey Tasting event, featuring special appearances by the Mayor and a surprise VIP Guest! Indulge in an evening of fine whiskey tasting complemented by cigars, shoe shines, petite fillet NY Strip, and decadent desserts. A special new whiskey blend will be included in the tasting. The Basher and Boot Committee will ask the Mayor to announce it's first Whiskey Of The Year Winner. This exclusive event is sponsored by Mama Dee's Texas Whiskey Cake, made in Lewisville, TX and Bent Distillery. A donation of $1,000.00 grants access to this unforgettable experience, limited to only 20 tickets. Proceeds from this event will support the Jeremiah 29:11 Scholarship Fund. May 4

7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Free Kids Boot Camp on the patio. Kids can learn leadership and life skills from former professional athletes, proven leaders, and boot-shiners. Parent must accompany their kids. RSVP by emailing us at ShininingForKids@yahoo.com.

11 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Join us for Sip, Smoke & Shine session featuring old-fashioned cocktails, brisket brews, and indulgent Mama Dee's Texas Whiskey Cake served with ice cream and maple bourbon caramel syrup. You will also have an opportunity to get a free shine.

4 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - Kick off the evening with craft cocktails, cigars (available or BYOC), live music, prizes, and delectable BBQ. We will pull our raffle winners between 4 and 5 p.m.. You will also have an opportunity to get a free shine.

4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Whiskey Cocktail Making Class - Join us for an evening filled with laughter, learning, and libations as we dive into the art of crafting delicious whiskey cocktails. Under the guidance of our expert mixologists, you'll learn the secrets behind creating classic whiskey cocktails and putting your own unique twist on timeless favorites. With a donation of $150.00, you'll secure your spot in this exclusive class, limited to 20 people.

5 p.m. - 8 p.m. - Live Music

May 5

4 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Don't miss our Booze & Live Blues Cruise on Lake Lewisville, a 2-hour and 45-minute excursion. Tickets are limited to 40 people. Cost: $150.00 for one or $250.00 for two, including food and drinks.
