This event is part of the free public programming surrounding ‘Artist Books of Loss and Healing,’ an exhibition opening as part of Upstate Art Weekend and offered throughout Summer 2026 at The Church in Staatsburg, a Hudson Valley art space. Curated by artists Alison Cornyn and Yolanda Cumo, the exhibition brings together artist books centered on love, loss, healing, and the many ways these experiences ask us to process.
Included are photo books, embroidered books, pop-up books, editioned books, unique objects, and works available as reading copies, along with a series of events in addition to this workshop.
