Pittsburgh, we need to talk about our literary scene. It's great! And that's a good excuse to come together and celebrate.

So here's the plan: Jackworth Ginger Beer. Friday, August 14, 2026. 6–9 PM.

There will be music provided by Pittsburgh's own DJs — ROJO, Saucequeen, and Paul Seif. There will be drinks crafted and curated by Jackworth's team. There will be some of the best people in Pittsburgh — that includes you.

This is the first party in the BOOKED! series, a new thing we're starting for the writers, the book sellers, the publishers, the always-have-a-book-in-their-bag readers.

We're here to mingle, toast each other, and remember why this community is so damn good.
