Katy will present a variety of ideas for summer fun in Indianapolis, plus share some hidden gems in Indy right out of her debut book, Indianapolis Scavenger. After signing your book, she will send you on your way to discover the clues hidden in plain sight in Fountain Square, and 18 other walkable neighborhoods.

This presentation is designed for adult attendees of all ages and children accompanied by well-behaved adults.

About the Author

Katy Mann, the creator of Indywithkids.com, grew up in Southern California. Her parents regularly took the family on road trips near and far to see incredible places and have unforgettable experiences. Katy’s explorations have taken her to Africa, South America, Central America, and Europe, but her favorite adventures are alongside her husband and four children in her chosen home state of Indiana.

Indy Reads' mission is to build literacy, English language and job readiness skills to empower adults and families to reach their full potential. Our community bookstore is an essential part of our Adult Basic Education programming, as well as a site for book lovers of all ages! To help keep classes free for our adult students, all purchases support members of our community in earning their High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma, improving their English language skills, and obtaining job certifications.

We also provide family-friendly community programming like story times, multilingual readings, workshops, author events, partner events, and more!
