Kepler's Literary Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization dedicated to enriching the community through literary and cultural programs. We produce over 150 programs each year bringing celebrated writers, artists, and original thinkers to engage with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.Your ticket purchases and donations support our ability to provide outstanding literary programming for the readers and writers in our community. It also enables us to bring exceptional writers to underserved schools, put books in the hands of children who often don't have books at home, and offer free admission to students and their teachers to our literary events.

Whether your goal as an author is to be published by a traditional publisher, a hybrid press, or as a self-published project, a strong, persuasive book proposal is the essential business plan you need to give your book the greatest chance to be a bestseller.This workshop will offer an up-to-the-minute look at the complexities of the current publishing industry, including digital and audio publishing, social and influencer media, AI as tool and threat, and much more. It will also give you a comprehensive look at all the elements—style and substance—that make up a great book proposal. By the end of the session you will have a clear picture of how to successfully navigate the challenging path from book idea to author tour. In-person attendees may bring their own synopsis or proposal draft for critique and tune-up. COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS: We strongly encourage attendees to wear masks at our events, although they will NOT be required. We will have masks available for attendees who want them. Do NOT attend the event if you, or any member of your family, have any respiratory symptoms (e.g. cough, runny nose, and/or sore throat), or have had a significant exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.ACCESSIBILITY: We never want cost to be a barrier to admission for our community.
