Movement for Every Body is an inclusive fitness guide for better movement. The book helps to build mind-body awareness, overcome exercise barriers, and improve mobility. It can be purchased at most retailers or borrowed at your local library.

Zoom will be used to host this online / virtual party. Live automated captions will be available.  The event link will be shared the day before the event.

What activity level and intensity expected?

The party will begin with gentle breathwork and warm up lead by Dr Marcia, followed by a dance class lead by Ashantis. The dance class is low impact but moderate intensity, and can be performed in standing (with/without support) or sitting. Rest breaks and modifications will be encouraged!

Do I have to participate the entire session?

Nope! You can come late, leave early, take a break. BUT folks who stay until the end will be entered into a free book giveaway.

Who is Ashantis?

Ashantis Jones (she/they) is a Master’s level Counselor, Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Educator, & Digital Creator. They are  a queer, cis(ish)-Black woman with AuDHD & fibromyalgia.

Who is Dr Marcia?

Dr Marcia (she/they) is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Yoga Teacher with a decade of experience. She is a queer, chronically ill / disabled, neurodivergent, strength sport athlete with a love for social dancing.
