Join us for a discussion of Remaking the World: How 1776 Created the Post-Christian West by Andrew Wilson. In Remaking the World: How 1776 Created the Post-Christian West, In Remaking the World, Andrew Wilson highlights 7 major developments from the year 1776―globalization, the Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution, the Great Enrichment, the American Revolution, the rise of post-Christianity, and the dawn of Romanticism―and explains their relevance to social changes happening today.

We will have light snacks starting at 6:15 pm and the discussion will begin at 7:00 pm.

Note: For our book discussions we encourage you to read the book ahead of time and to mark up passages that resonated with you or puzzled you, or that you just have to talk with someone about. Our book discussions are not presentations of the book, rather we are eager for your contributions, so that we can have a valuable give and take. If you didn’t read the book, don’t let that keep you away, but for the greatest impact, read as much as you can. Join us as we discuss this powerful book.
