Book Bloom Workshop
Learn to turn old book pages into beautiful handmade paper flowers in this fun, eco-friendly craft workshop.
Discover the art of paper flower creation in this hands-on workshop designed for beginners and curious crafters alike. You'll have the opportunity to make these beautiful, recycled flowers from the pages of old books and will leave with a small bouquet you can proudly display or gift to a loved one.
Registration includes access to scissors, glue, a variety of coloring supplies (acrylic paint markers, alcohol markers, colored pencils, and crayons), a small plastic vase for your finished flowers, and an abundance of loose pages from an assortment of old books. During the workshop, you will learn how to create paper roses, practicing the skills you learn under direct guidance so you can gain the understanding and confidence to continue "growing" flowers on your own.
You can anticipate making 2-3 complete flowers during this 3 hour workshop and are welcome to take extra loose pages to continue crafting on your own.
Please be aware that this event is being held on the 2nd floor of a historic building without an elevator. If mobility needs prevent you from attending, please reach out about private, in-home event options offered for accessibility.
