Re-useable Pocket Notebook.

Make your own A7 re-useable pocket notebook, complete with tri-fold cover and decorative paper lining. Perfect for observations and notes on the go. Suitable for beginners (age14+). All materials and tools are provided and you'll take away your own personalised notebook.

This class will take you through folding and trimming the pages, gluing and creating the covers, and sewing the book together. If time allows, there will be a chance to foil block initials or a small image onto your book in silver or gold.

Linette of Anachronalia is a Leeds-based bookbinder with a background in Medieval Studies at the University of Leeds who has been bookbinding since 2012. She has a particular interest in book history and miniatures, and likes to incorporate historical features into modern books.

This workshop will take place in the Breezy Teas cafe building (wheelchair accessible), where your group will have exclusive use of the space under Linette's instruction. All materials, as well as tea/coffee and cake provided. All you need is some enthusiasm!

nB. The gardens will be closed at this time (as they open annually on the 1st May). minimum 4 attendees, maximum 10.
