Come for a fun evening of freestyle dancing at the Barefoot Boogie, opening with a one hour Tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT) workshop led by Diane Jacobowitz.The workshop begins with a short Essentrics warm up. Essentrics is a full body rebalancing fitness modality that lengthens and strengthens all the body's joints and muscles using elements of both tai chi and ballet.Tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique) is an energy medicine technique that literally ‘taps’ on the body’s chakra points to reduce stress and anxiety, improve performance, lessen cravings and help resolve personal fears and challenges. Diane is an EFT certified Tapping practitioner as well as a distinguished choreographer, dancer, educator and the founder of Dancewave.If you are attending the workshop, please arrive by 7pm (doors open at 6:45) and wear comfortable clothes (shoes are ok but optional). All are welcome to dance, connect, and groove in a safe and inclusive environment as our DJs spin energizing beats that will get you moving and lift your spirits.
