Bonjou Haiti: A Trip of Culture

Join us for an unforgettable journey around Haiti and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of our beautiful country. From exploring historical landmarks to indulging in the best and most delicious local cuisine, this training experience promises to be a feast for the senses.

Experience the rhythm of traditional Haitian music and dance, and get a taste of the country's rich artistic heritage. Learn how to speak our languages and connet with our people. Marvel at the breathtaking natural beauty of Haiti, from its pristine beaches to its lush mountains.

During this volunteer trip, you'll have the opportunity to connect with local communities, learn about our customs, and gain a deeper understanding of Haiti's history and traditions through Vodou workshops and presentations.

Get trained by native Haitians that live in Haiti and earn skills in crisis health management for maternity, children, adults, and elderly. If you are not a medicall professional you can get trained in ecofriendly construction and education systems of Haiti.

Whether you're a seasoned traveler or new to exploring different cultures, Bonjou Ayiti: A Trip of Culture is the perfect opportunity to embark on an adventure that will leave you with lifelong memories. You get the real experience of living in multiple places of Haiti and leave with a sea of longtime friedships.

  1. Horseride to Citadelle Laferriere & Sans-Souxi Palace with Entertainment & Lunch at Lakou Lakay Milot Guesthouse & Restaurant
  2. Exploration of the Heroes Monument of Vertières
  3. Relaxing visit to the Bassin Zim cave & waterfall with a tastey dinner at Eben-zer Restaurant
  4. Stroll to Charlemagne Péralte Parc to see monuments of Haiti vs USA Battle
  5. Explore Fort Picolet, Fort Joseph, Fort Magny, & Bois Caiman
  6. Submerge yourself in the healing waters of Bassin Waka & Chouchoubay
  7. Feel the energy of the caves where Haitians hid during the Haiti-USA Battle
  8. Visit the breathtaking Labadee beach or the serene Cormier beach
  9. Learn about the spectactular cave system and grottos of Dondon

Can I make a deposit to reserve my space?

Yes, we recommend it! We require a deposit of $400 to reserve your space.

Is this a religious missionary trip?

No. Our organization provides community relief support through sustainable practices. This is a fundraiser trip for people who would like to help bring jobs to the community. You will help others get the training needed while you get the training you need.

What does this trip come with?

This trip comes with accommodation at all locations, meals and clean water, excursions, transportation while in Haiti, personal tour guides/translators/drivers, training certifications, volunteer certification, and cultural experiences.

Can we travel to Haiti?

If you are in the US then you know it is recommended to not travel to Haiti, however, we have worked out safe routes and are fully aware of what is going on and connected to Haiti and want to reassure you we are safe.

Who is this trip for?

This trip is for professionals or people with a skill who would like to volunteer in the community. We welcome medical and maternal professionals, education professionals of all levels and subjects, artists of all kind, construction workers, manufacturers, mechanics, and all willing to help.

What is your refund policy?

Deposits are nonrefundable but may be refundable on certain occasions. It is recommended that you get travel insurance.

What happens in the case of a cancelled event?

Events are only canceled due to uncontrolled circumstances usually involving weather or unfortunate national or natural conditions. It is recommended that you get travel insurance as this trip fee is not refundable.

Do you offer any kind of group/military/student discount?

We currently do not offer discounts for this trip for certain type of people or professions, however, we offer discounts for people who are able to collect donations of goods. We also offer free trips for people who secure sponsors.

How do I pack for this trip?

Will I have a payment plan?

If you made a deposit the payment plan will be sent to you. If you paid in full you will not have a payment plan.
