Bonding & Cementation Demystified

Course description:

This program will provide dentists with the essential knowledge and practical skills for successfully bonding e.max lithium disilicate restorations to dentin and enamel.

Participants will learn how to determine whether bonding or cementation is the most appropriate method for securing the restoration, considering factors such as material compatibility and clinical requirements.

Topics covered will include:

• Comprehensive understanding between Bonding and Cementing a restoration in place
• Understanding why MDP chemistry will allow a cement to bond Zirconia to Dentin or Enamel
• Master Cementation categories and the substructures that align with each category.

Kathleen is a Certified Dental Assistant in New York State, with over 28 years of experience. For the past 25 years, Kathleen has been the Territory Sales Manager for Clinical products in the Upstate New York territory. Kathleen has presented hands-on courses internationally and has participated in lectures throughout organized dentistry and laboratory technology. Kathleen is part of the International Center for Dental Education (ICDE) at Ivoclar Vivadent. She is currently a member of The Dental Assisting National Board and The National Association of Dental Assistants.
