We're back..... virtually!  Join us as we use Python, MakeCode and maybe even some Scratch to explore the world of coding and making

<h1>Safeguarding</h1><p>Just as when we meet face to face, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (who we must be able to see during the session).  </p><p>Where  possible video  should be on, if nothing else it's better talking to a sea of faces rather than blank squares.</p><p>Check your surroundings!  Be aware of who or what may be in shot, and ensure nothing inappropriate can be seen.  Also think about any sounds that may be picked up, especially conversations!  Keeping yourself on mute until you need to talk is a good idea. If possible set yourself up in a quieter area of the house</p><p>When using the chat function please be polite and courteous.</p><h3>Most importantly, do not share online meeting details</h3>

<h1>Session Timetable</h1><p>14:00 - Welcome</p><p>14:10 - Code a Long - <em>tbc (usually something Python)</em></p><p>15:00 - Break / Show &amp; Tell</p><p>15:30 - Code A Long - <em>tbc (usually something Micro:bit)</em></p><p>16:30 - Wrap Up</p><p>This is subject to change and timings are (very) approximate.  The second activity is only if there is enough interest/time to run one. </p><p>The Zoom meeting will be started around 13:50 to allow people to join the lobby ready for a 14:00 start</p>

<h1>You will need</h1><ul><li>The Zoom client (make sure this is <a href="https://www.zoom.us/download" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">downloaded </a>in advance )</li><li>Up to date web browser (Chrome or Edge)</li></ul><p></p><h3>Recommended</h3><ul><li>Second screen (monitor/tv) so Zoom and activities can be side by side</li></ul><p>or</p><ul><li>Second device; one for Zoom and one for activities (this could be a Raspberry Pi)</li></ul><h3></h3><h3>Optional Extras (NOT needed to complete any activities)</h3><ul><li>Raspberry Pi</li><li>Micro:bit </li></ul><p></p>
