Soroptimist International of Napa is a  dynamic women’s service organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls throughsocial and economic programs leading to empowerment.The Napa club is part of a world-wide organization of Soroptimist International and Soroptimist International of the Americas which was founded in 1921 in the Bay area.  The Napa club was chartered in 1939.Signature  annual awards include theLive Your Dream Awardand theViolet Richardson Award.  TheLive Your Dream Awardprovides a cash award and support to a woman who is Head-of-household, attending college or trade school, has financial need and is motivated to make difference in her life and her children’s. TheViolet Richardson Awardhonors a teenage girl for her exceptional volunteerism.  She receives a cash award for herself and a matching award goes to the charity of her choice.TheFutureisYouis a newer local scholarship sponsored by Soroptimist of Napa available to all Napa Unified School District graduating senior girls with emphasis going to girls having overcome extenuating circumstances or first time college attenders for their family.Contact us atsinapa@soroptimist.net

We support women and girls; middle school through post secondary education and create opportunities to support students through mentorship and grant funding.Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.Come meet some fun, fabulous women, fulfilling dreams for local women and girls in our community!
