Am I able to participate if I'm not a member of The BLK ED Network?

Yes! The program is open to all nonprofit leaders, regardless of membership status. We welcome anyone interested in strengthening their board and improving their organizational governance.

What if I can only attend one session?

Accepted Answer

We highly encourage attending both sessions to gain the full benefit of the program. However, if you're only able to attend one session, you'll still gain valuable insights from that session.

Question 3

I’m not currently working in a nonprofit, but I plan to start a nonprofit soon. Can I participate?

Accepted Answer

If you're in the process of starting a nonprofit or plan to do so in the near future, this program will provide you with foundational knowledge and strategies to help you build a strong, effective board from the start. It's a great opportunity to learn and prepare before launching your organization.

I’m not the executive director, but I’m part of the board. Can I still participate?

Yes! This program is not only for executive directors but also for board members who want to better understand their roles and responsibilities.
