About this event
You’ve been holding it down. Showing up. Carrying the weight with quiet strength. But deep down, you know you’re called to more.
This one-day leadership experience is built for Black men in education who are ready to answer that call—with power, with clarity, and with community. Whether you’re just stepping into leadership or a seasoned vet plotting your next move, this is your space to grow, build, and move with intention.
Called to MORE is where bold conversations meet good food, good music, and even better company. It’s where your leadership journey feels less like a grind and more like a gathering—with giveaways, laughs, real talk, and a room full of men who just get it.
You’ll connect with brothers (educators and system leaders, entrepreneurs, nonprofit professionals, and philanthropic professionals)—many of whom began their journeys in the classroom. Expect to hear real stories, sharpen your vision, and gain career-shifting insights to expand your career, protect your peace, and deepen your purpose.
And you won’t be alone. This experience intentionally engages the allies committed to your growth—those who don’t just cheer from the sidelines but take a front-row seat to the brilliance, vision, and leadership of Black men who are reshaping education from the inside out.
This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about fueling you.
Because your leadership isn’t a title. It’s a calling.
What to Expect
At Called to MORE, the conversations are unapologetically real and radically necessary.
These aren’t your standard conversations—they’re catalytic spaces where Black men in education confront, reimagine, and reclaim leadership on their own terms.
- Conversation 1: In "LeadBlack: Black Men Transforming Education", changemakers share how they’re reshaping schools and systems through bold, values-driven leadership.
- Conversation 2: "Serving Everybody, Losing Yourself" challenges the burnout culture head-on, reframing wellness as a revolutionary act of self-leadership.
- Conversation 3: In "HerStory in the Lead", Black women speak truth to power—unfiltered—about navigating partnership, power, and progress with and in front of Black men.
- Conversation 4: And "Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Create. Earn. Empower." unlocks what’s possible when Black men lean into edupreneurship to fuel both impact and financial freedom.
These conversations will stretch you, affirm you, and call you higher—because leadership done right starts with truth.
Whether you’ve been in the game for years or you're just stepping into leadership, this is where you level up—with a powerful network at your back, the tools to move forward, and the fire to lead with impact.
No lectures. No fluff. Just bold conversations, practical insight, and the brilliance of Black leadership—front and center.
