Get ready for cameras, books, and the streets of Seattle. Blurb and Photographic Center Northwest (PCNW) are organizing a photowalk guided by Dan Milnor, Blurb's creative ambassador, on June 8 during PCNW’s Chase the Light event.
Meet us at Photographic Center Northwest promptly at 12:30 p.m. We will walk, talk, photograph, and immerse ourselves in the visual energy of the International District. Bring your camera, curiosity, and sense of adventure.
We'll end the walk back at Photographic Center Northwest at 3:30 p.m. Those with a meetup ticket add-on will have a chance to mingle and share their work while enjoying a beverage, compliments of Blurb. Bring your existing Blurb books or just yourself. All skill levels are welcome.
Both events are free, but registering for the Chase the Light fundraiser with a suggested donation of $20 to PCNW is encouraged. Plus, if you submit your work, it will reviewed by industry professionals and added to a pop-up exhibition and print sale on Saturday, June 15.

Chase the Light is PCNW's annual summer fundraising event celebrating photography and community. The event kicks off with a 48-hour photo weekend on June 8 and 9, where people around the globe make photographs on the same weekend.
Every participant who submits will have their work reviewed by industry professionals and is guaranteed to have one photograph selected for a pop-up exhibition and print sale on Saturday, June 15. Register today.
About Dan Milnor
Daniel Milnor is Blurb's creative ambassador. A former news, publishing, and commercial photographer, he now works mainly on long-term projects. His work combines photos, movement, sound, and writing. He began printing his work in a darkroom in 1988 and has self-published hundreds of titles, which have been experimental or award-winning. He studied at the Art Center College of Design and the Academy of Art University. His work is exhibited in the collections of The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The George Eastman House, and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. He lives in New Mexico.

Anyone can attend the photowalk! We have limited space for the post-walk meetup, so only those with a meetup ticket add-on will get a free drink courtesy of Blurb.
Bring your favorite camera and lens (your phone counts). You can also bring any Blurb books you've published and would like to show off!
