Learn the basics of pruning blueberry shrubs with hands-on practice!

<h3>RAIN DATE Monday, March 4th 4:00pm- 6:00pm</h3> Join Horticulture Agent, Celine Richard, to learn how to care for your blueberry shrubs from season to season. Blueberries should be pruned back annually while dormant to maintain shrub health, encourage new growth and increase yields. This workshop will guide participants through the decision process for selecting blueberry canes to be removed to maximize plant health and production for the coming years.HOW TO PREPARE:<ul><li>Dress for cool weather and possibly wet conditions.</li><li>This workshop is hands-on. Participants are welcome to bring long-handled pruning loppers and gloves of their own, though some tools will be available for use on site as well.</li></ul>
