Frequently asked questions

What will the weather be?

The weather in Western North Carolina can be variable through the spring. We suggest you wear layers or bring a small blanket as this is an outdoor viewing. This event is not rain or shine. We cannot guarantee the weather. If we have rain the event will be canceled for the evening, with no refunds.

What should I bring with?

Wear appropriate shoes. There is a small hike to the Garden (we have a cart for those with mobility issues. Wear layers, the weather can change quickly. Bring along a small blanket if you would like.

Where to stay?

Do you guarantee a Blue Ghost Fair Experience?

We have had the honor of having experience with Blue Ghost Fairies every year for the last 32 years. That stated the breeding cycle, weather, and other natural variables do exist. We cannot guarantee an experience however, the fairies have not let us down yet!

Will more tickets be available?

Our staff is working hard to monitor the Blue Ghost Fairies on the property! Check back after the season starts post the Mother's day Holiday. More dates and slots are to come!
