BLS HeartCode
Overview

Created by iPaaS in Service Request #396292

HeartCode BLS Online - Provider is intended for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. BLS trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate breaths and ventilations, and provide early use of an AED.

HeartCode BLS uses a blended learning format, in which students complete a self-directed online learning component followed by a hands-on session.

After registration, participants will be sent a course link to access the online portion of the course within 2-3 business days. The self-directed online portion utilizes Cognitive Assessment Activities (CAAs) to achieve content mastery. The CAAs are adaptable based on the participant’s self-reported confidence as well as their knowledge of the cognitive material.

Upon completion of the online portion (Part 1), participants will receive a certificate of completion. The certificate of completion must be presented at the time of the hands-on skills session (Part 2). The hands-on skills session is scheduled on the date and time listed and takes approximately 90 minutes.

There are no refunds for blended learning courses.

Course Fee: $135.00
