Welcome to the Third Annual Brooklyn Law and Political Economy Collective Student Symposium! This Symposium will showcase student legal scholarship and provide a forum for students and faculty to build academic discourse, collaboration, and community. Schedule to come.

Previous panels have discussed topics related to:

  • the interpretation and projection of the American empire
  • the intersection between education law and racial justice
  • legal issues regarding the body and mind
  • economic justice
  • the rise of technology

The Brooklyn Law and Political Economy Collective seeks to challenge legal pedagogical boundaries in the interest of social justice, including economic, racial, gender, and environmental justice. Our projects are guided by three pillars: anti-racism, anti-imperialism, and anti-capitalism.
