Be Photo Shoot Ready!This is event is hosted by Shatiera Porte&#x27;e, Visionary Consultant. Shatiera is a New Jersey native and has been working in the mental health field for almost two decades and in education for nearly one, also known as “Your Favorite School Counselor” Shatiera has been challenged with several adversities and struggles throughout her life. Shatiera’s most transparent moments was when she had the toughest conversations with herself battling lack of self-love, lack of self-confidence and finding her purpose. She now knows the importance and value of honoring one’s self and now is empowering others by sharing her own story as well as the tools and resources she used to overcome challenges, unhealthy relationships, while finding herself.Keynote Speaker, Melly La FloristaMy name is Melly La Florista, and I am a bold, passionate woman who is committed to not only her own growth and healing but that of minority women as well. I am unafraid of failure, as my most valuable lessons and greatest strengths have been discovered through what appeared to be failures. My superpower is my light! It illuminates any room &amp; draws people to it. My light provides optimism in any situation no matter how dark it appears to be. I help women heal emotionally by providing a safe space to be vulnerable and grow through group workshops as well as one on one coaching sessions. I recognize that minority women struggle with feeling acknowledged, validated and safe as a result of relational and emotional trauma. As a certified emotional support coach, motivational speaker, and mentor, I am passionate about planting seeds that helping women grow.I have a Bachelor&#x27;s degree in Psychology and a Professional Life coach certification. I am the host of Boom Bitch, Bloom. Podcast where the Bitch stands for &quot;Being intentional about growth through continuous healing. I have worked in Learning &amp; Development for almost a decade facilitating classes, building curriculums, and creating training materials that promote learning, skills enhancement, and growth. As a member of Zeta Phi Beta, Sorority Inc. I have participated in several community service projects uplifting minority communities and mentoring young women. I have directly experienced relational trauma beginning in childhood with an absent father and continuing through adulthood in unhealthy romantic relationships. While in these relationships, I felt lost, confused and in need of emotional support. I wanted to feel safe. Although I knew other women that were suffering through the same experiences, I felt judged and alone with no tools to sort through my emotions. I knew there was a destination of growth and healing that I was eager to arrive at, but I didn&#x27;t have the address or directions for how to get there. After seeing so many women feel stuck and trapped by their trauma, I wanted to show them that even though you&#x27;ve experienced trauma, you are still worthy of self-love, self-acceptance and can still bloom. So, I decided to create Seeds to Bloom Coaching Services, LLC to help women navigate through their trauma. My mission is to provide emotional safety and inspire women to continuously grow and discover their worth. My vision is to create a safe space for women to be nurtured and nourished by planting seeds that bloom into self-love, self-awareness &amp; self-discovery.You don&#x27;t want to miss big event.
