What should I bring with me?

Hard hat (and extra if you have one); layers in case weather is cold, and rain jacket and umbrella in case of rain; water and lunch; rugged footwear; binoculars if desired.

Will the event be canceled if it rains?

No. The tour may be limited to some sites due to access. Vehicles used to caravan to field sites should be high-clearance vehicles with AWD or 4WD (ideally).

How can I volunteer to be a driver?

Please email kristina.wolf@bof.ca.gov to provide information about the number of seats you have available in your vehicle. Vehicles used to caravan to field sites should be high-clearance vehicles with AWD or 4WD (ideally). Drivers should be insured for the vehicle they are driving.
