Block Printing
In this hands-on class, you'll learn the fundamentals of block printing. This class is great for all levels!
In this hands-on class, you'll learn the fundamentals of block printing. You can bring in your own design, or use a pre-made template provided by the instructor. Students will master basic transfer techniques and carve their own block to create a unique "stamp." Throughout the class, you'll use a variety of tools essential for block printing, including carving tools, ink rollers, and printing surfaces. The instructor will offer a selection of papers for your prints, and textile-safe inks will also be available. If you'd like to print on fabric, feel free to bring your own textile items, such as a t-shirt or tea towel, to customize with your design!
