Tackling the difficult subject of suicide with honesty, humor, and heart, Blindsided is Rizzi’s deeply personal journey. At 17, her world is turned upside down after the suicide of her best friend, Katie. As the daughter of a former monk and a former nun (yes, really), Rizzi searches for meaning, grappling with anxiety, depression, and the question of how to move forward.

But Blindsided is far from a heavy night at the theater.

Through sharp comedy, unforgettable characters, and even a surreal talking dog, Rizzi finds laughter in the darkest places. The result is a moving and surprisingly hilarious story about love, friendship, resilience, and finding hope when life feels impossible.
