Overview

Join us on May 2, 2026 for a fire ceremony, garden walking meditation, and a weaving seeds into our communities.

We will start our time together with a Beltane fire ritual. In this workshop, each person will write down something that represents the sludge that they want to release from the winter and we will burn those messages in the fire pit.

This ritual will be led by Bee Naidus, artist, writer, community networker, pollinator, and quantum energy collaborator.

After the fire ritual, we will move into a walking meditation in the garden to connect with something growing or blooming: a plant, bush, flower, or tree. Each participant will sit with the plant being they have chosen, learn its name and its medicine and share that knowledge and experience with the group.

After the meditation, there will be snacks.

Our last activity is weaving paper and plants together to create baskets or containers that will hold seeds. You can decorate seed packet with images of your plant being and add uplifting words for your neighbors.

We will close with a guided meditation about connecting with neighbors, both human and more than human.

Cost: $30, all supplies and snacks will be provided. Location is in the Historic North Slope of Tacoma. Location will provided after registration is complete. Registration is limited to 15 people. Open to older teens and adults of all ages - The garden is ADA accessible.
