DC-based IT Consulting Firm, Excella, will be hosting the inaugural Open Source Dev Conf at Virginia Tech. Five Experts in Agile Engineering, Software Development and DevOps will be sharing their experiences ranging from navigating the open source world from using Microsoft’s .NET to the latest and greatest cutting-edge JavaScript frameworks and tools like Node.js, TypeScript, Angular.js, React.js and Vue.js. You will get helpful tips on lessons learned the hard way when you’re first starting your career and a few more things to get a running start on your career by learning about AWS and DevOps.
Who Should Attend?
Students who are interested in open source software, coding for fun, CS or BIT majors, or anyone who is looking to pursue a career as a developer, software engineer or an IT consultant, including business analysts. 
Community members or professionals who are running or attending meetups, who are interested in cutting edge technology and open source development best practices.
