There is nowhere in Manchester like this. That’s the whole reason it exists.
Blackout is a room curated for Black and brown queer people. People who move the same way, who want somewhere to actually be themselves on a Friday without explaining anything to anyone.
Come to dance, come to talk, come to meet people you’d never meet otherwise. New faces, old friends, a few connections you didn’t plan for. Whatever comes out of the room is yours to take.
First edition. Amazonia Lounge, Friday 25 September. Doors 11pm, over 18s, ID required.
