We're doing it again! L'Arte Della Bellica's famous Fiore Dagger Hell workshop lead by Patrick McCaffrey is coming to Danville!
!
This 12 hour workshop maxes out at 10 slots. Tickets are $50 per person. This will cover the cost of travel for Patrick and any assistants and their hard work.
This workshop goes over all of Fiore's dagger plays. You will become familiar with Fiore's organization and reaction to a dagger attack. Every play will be performed to a safe completion with a cooperative partner. Advantages and disadvantages for many of the plays and masters will be discussed.

This is going to give you a basic understanding and a familiarity with all of Fiore's dagger plays so that you may bring this back to your study group and train with daggers, including focusing on increasing the intensity, working on a variety of defenses, and seeing how Fiore's Dagger plays relate to grappling and sword-fighting.

What this is NOT: This will not make anyone a "master" in Fiore's dagger. You're not expected to remember every single play at the end of it. You're not going to become immune to being attacked with a dagger. You're not going to suddenly be able to speak Italian. 

Requirements:
A light fencing jacket, ringen jacket, or sweatshirt that can and will be pulled on.

Athletic pants that don't drag on the ground (fencing knickers, shorts, etc).

A cup is recommended.

Fencing/wrestling/barefoot style shoes preferred.

You can bring your own rondel dagger or one will be provided for you. We will be using Cold Steel Rondel Daggers.

A fencing mask and chest protector are optional based on your own preferences for the cooperative portion.

If time permits, we will increase the intensity of a couple of drills where a mask is required. Loaners are available.
