Woodlawn Diversity In Action, Host of the Black Wall Street Chicago Festivals: Our Mission, is to create a forum that encourages positive transformation by providing educational tools to elevate small business owners while promoting Black Excellence, Love, and Empowerment.

Woodlawn within its own right was once a flourishing and thriving community with many businesses. Our goal is to promote and highlight the positive actions and gifts of those in the community, with an emphasis on Black Businesses and Black Pride. By showcasing entrepreneurs we will create a network of businesses that work together to continue to build our communities. Our events present inspiring musical artists, fashion, a curated exhibit of black street art and educational pieces, a taste of black wall street showcasing savory cuisines from around the city, entertainment, street vendors and so much more.
