Overview

Join us for a day of learning the basics of processing raw wool! This is an educational based workshop on sorting and carding wool.

Join us for an educational workshop led by Shepherd Allison Reilly from Black Mountain Ranch. This is a one day intro on how to process wool.

You will:

  • Learn the difference in Fiber Types
  • Practice Skirting & Sorting Wool
  • Learn the variety of uses for scrap wool


There will be small plates and drinks provided for lunch.

Please bring a water bottle and wear closed toed shoes.

More on Allison Reilly - Allison raises Jacob and Churro sheep as well as alpacas. She processes wool part of her business at Three Bags Full. She is also a fashion designer and has her studio on site.

Due to the nature of the event we will not be able to accomodate for small children. Kids 16+ interested in ag based events are welcome! Stay in touch for other community events where all ages are welcomed.
