Celebrate Pride Month at Lighthouse Foundation's Black LGBTQ+ Beach Day! This event is free and open to everyone, but centers Black LGBTQ+ individuals.


The day will kick off with Movement on the Beach workshops from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, featuring various activities to nurture your mind, body, and health.


From 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, enjoy the Beach Party and Healthcare Village. Dance to the beats of Rae Chardonnay, a DJ, Arts Manager, and events producer based in Chicago, famous for co-founding the infamous Party Noire. Rae Chardonnay is known for her dynamic musical styling techniques and has held residencies at prominent venues in Chicago, including the late Double Door, The Promontory, and Soho House. She has also opened for renowned acts such as Janelle Monae, Jamila Woods, and Megan Thee Stallion.


While you enjoy the party, you'll also get access to free essential healthcare services such as testing, COVID-19 and mpox vaccinations, and various healthcare activations, all provided to address the importance of holistic wellness.


Black LGBTQ+ Beach Day facilitates visibility, empowerment, and joy while fostering the health of our community. We deserve to thrive visibly and take up space! Join us as we celebrate Pride Month with a day of empowerment, fun, wellness, and self-care.
