Cultureville, BOB Expo and the BIPC Greater Manchester present The Black Creative Soirée: An evening celebrating Black Creatives in Business

An evening celebrating Black History Month with a showcase of black owned businesses and creatives including fashion brands, poets, artists and musicians to be held at Shakespeare Hall in the historic Manchester Central Library. The evening will feature a fashion show punctuated by spoken word performances and surrounded by art created by black artists. There will be an opportunity to meet and greet artists, poets and black fashion designers who will be showcased on the evening. It was founded by Monique Kufuor and has been running for 4 years. The most recent BOB Expo event took place in Manchester in August 2022, had over 100 businesses showcased and over 1000 guests in attendance. Monique has a passion for Black businesses being visible and gaining their full potential through growth.CulturevilleCultureville is an award-winning fashion brand that specialises in handcrafted clothing and accessories that feature bold African wax prints in contemporary designs. Cultureville was founded by Adeola and Ronke Jane Adelakun with a vision to make modern African fashion more accessible to everyone. Cultureville has been supported by the BIPC including through digital marketing, a product showcase in the BIPC GM and being invited to discuss sustainability to existing and aspiring business owners.
