Come and celebrate Black Birders Week in Buffalo on a bird walk co-led by Buffalo's very own Marcus Rosten and Schuyler Lawson! Join us for a guided bird walk through Red Jacket Park as we search for spring migrants, wading waterfowl, and summer residents beginning to nest. Last year's bird highlights included Yellow Warblers, Baltimore Orioles, Willow Flycatchers,Gray Catbirds, Great Egret, and a Belted Kingfisher!
Bring binoculars if you have them! We will walk just over a half mile on maintained trails, looking for birds along the way. The event is family friendly and hosted in partnership with the Western New York Land Conservancy.
