BitSpace is thrilled to celebrate its 10th Anniversary with an immersive Open House on May 10, 2025. Hosted at BitSpace's Lincoln Square makerspace, the free all-ages event will feature interactive projects created in-house, stories from guest speakers, and a look at a decade of student creations.

Saturday, May 10, welcomes the public to engage in activities, games, raffles, interactive exhibits, and an in-house designed game to showcase the impact of maker education over the past decade.

Food, beverages, and light fare from local businesses will be provided.

What is BitSpace?

We are a youth-only makerspace that teaches kids the fundamentals of design thinking, taking their ideas from concept and ideation to realization. We have a full woodshop, digital lab, and textile space for young makers to explore their interests and learn life-long skills.

What does BitSpace offer?

We host Day Off camps, Spring Break, Summer Camp, in-school and afterschool programming, Open Shop, introductory classes, and so much more!

What ages does BitSpace host?

Depending on the offering, we have classes for kids as young as 8 and up to 19.
